Vitamin C- This would have to be one of my top immune boosters, it has the ability to nip a sore throat in the bud before it turns into tonsillitis and with its anti viral actions it can prevent a sniffle from developing into something more. Take 2-3 grams a day to get rid of a cold.
Zinc- Take this in conjunction with Vitamin C and you will be boosting your immune system no end, research proves zinc can help with pneumonia; diarrhoea and it will shorten the duration of the common cold. It’s also great for fertility, skin, hair and nails, taste and appetite.
