At CK Health we now have a psychologist in our Newcastle clinic to help build your strength and resilience when you need a bit of extra support.
Everyone experiences difficult stages in life, and recognising that you are struggling is the first step towards changing your life.
Our compassionate and caring Newcastle psychologist, Jen McKeough, will support you to think and act differently, by providing evidence based, individualised care.

Talking with a professional can help you know that you are not alone. A psychologist helps you understand why you think, feel and act the way you do and fosters more sustainable behaviours so you can build a better life for yourself.
Jen, our Newcastle psychologist at CK Health can help with a wide variety of issues for both children and adults:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Antenatal or postpartum anxiety and depression
- Gay and lesbian support
- Marriage/relationship problems
- Pain management
- Trauma
- Sleep issues
- Grief
- Fears and phobias
- Addiction
- Weight management and food related issues
- Mental health support
One of the amazing things about having a psychologist at CK Health, is that it complements what our naturopaths do so well. Psychologists study neuroscience and work on behaviour change. Our naturopaths can support this work as they have learnt nutritional neuroscience. This means they can work on underlying drivers of mental health issues and support neurotransmitter function while you are learning behaviour change strategies with your Newcastle psychologist Jen.
If you are not coping, feeling like you are not quite yourself, have had a diagnosis of a condition, or experienced some drastic changes and need extra support, then come and talk to Jen, a health professional who is both empathic and graceful in your care.
You can book directly with Jen or through your GP with a mental health care plan. To find out more, call our clinic on 02 40773803
